The Cotswolds Art and Antique Dealers' Association (CADA) Fair, Woodstock
Blenheim Palace is the majestic backdrop for the eighth CADA fair this month, which will include some of the country's leader dealers showcasing their finest stock. The prestigious event, from February 21-24 - two months earlier than previous years - is the only antiques fair to take place at the palace, which is home to the 12th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough.
The duke's sister is Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill, patron of both the association and fair. New exhibitors this year include 18th-century English furniture specialists Alderson Antiques and J. H. Bourdon-Smith who will present antique and modern silver from the 16th century to the present day.
New CADA member and 20th-century modern art dealer Dantzig will showcase works on paper, including original prints from Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse. All works are for sale, with prices ranging from £100 to more than £100,000 Fair director Catherine Hunt, said: "The earlier date of February puts us in line with the other prestigious fairs this month and in March. Being such a fantastic venue, Blenheim is a great destination for the end of February and the start of Spring."
