Description

Unusual pedestal sideboard tea caddy with beautifully carved columns to the front with flame mahogany panels and beautifully carved back splat. With a hinged lid held secure by a hidden drawer in the center. The draw has two small finger tabs on the underside which allows it to be slightly opened which releases a catch on the lid allowing for the caddy to be opened.

Lifting the lid to the sideboard tea caddy reveals three solid rosewood lids each with turned integral handles, removing these you can see it still has traces of its foil lining.

This wonderful miniature sideboard tea caddy has rich colour and superb patination and is one for the true collector.
