Description
Chinese early 18th century biscuit porcelain famille verte hexagonal supper dish made at Jingdezhen Kilns during the reign of The Emperor kangxi.
The dish is painted to the centre with hollow rock and a flowering prunus tree. The top is painted with demi flower heads on the corners and a geometric pattern under the green enamel.
Biscuit porcelain was a quicker form of firing and making pieces as it missed out on the firing before enamalling so making the piece more prone to damage
the supper sets fitted to together around a larger central plate so forming a large group
