A magnificent Antique Bombe shaped Penwork Tea Chest with beautifully painted rural river and lake landscapes all around. The tea chest stands on four gilded brass ball feet with gilded brass loop handles on each side.

Lifting the lid of this magnificent penwork tea chest reveals its vibrant interior, kept fresh from natural sunlight the lid shows two boys playing on a bridge over a river with wonderful rolling countryside views. The tea chest features two removable sycamore hinged tea caddies flanking its period lead crystal cut glass mixing bowl. Each caddy is adorned with floral decorations on all sides and both contain traces of their original foil lining.

This wonderful penwork tea chest comes complete with a fully working lock and tasselled key.
