Early, and Collectable!
Early Oak Furniture 1550-1700

William and Mary Oak Dining Chairs

As the avid collector of Early Oak Furniture will know, that which has survived in good, original condition is not easily found. Those who can form a collection of even a few pieces of exceptional quality are fortunate and, as the years have gone by, it has become progressively more difficult.

This collected set of ten oak dining chairs belong to the end of the period and are very elegant in style, with slat backs and carved cresting and finials. Oak dining chairs have always been difficult to find since they are one of the most used items of furniture. Although each chair is individual they blend together very well and, with their high backs, they give a fine overall effect of opulence to any dining room.
