- This work is by the contemporary abstract artist Astor Milan Salcedo, who has held two sell out exhibitions with Trinity House.

- 'Two Sides of the Story, Part Two' is from a highly popular series which explore the concepts of relationship and compromise. The series is made up of combined pairs of canvases, that are all painted separately before being attached to one another.

- The picture’s surface is constructed from layered paint, sometimes more than thirty layers deep, in an array of extremely bold and stimulating colours. Through his paintings, Salcedo explores emotional and existential concepts, rather than figurative subject matter. He hopes paintings such as this one will give the viewer an internal experience
