A study of the Manchester artist, Miss Isabel Dacre (born Leamington 1844, exhibiting 1880-1929), who befriended Dodd and was his patroness for fourteen years. Affectionately known as Aunt Susan, she was the model in a number of Dodd's earlier drypoints.
