Description / Expertise

1) A very fine mahogany pole screen in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. The mahogany tripod support is finely carved with acanthus leaf decoration. Excellent colour. The needlework, the same period as the tripod support, is of the Goddess Hera on her Chariot. Price £3650.

2) A good mahogany pole screen with tripod support terminating in lion's paw feet. The outer edge of the banner frame as the delicately carved with ribbon and flower head decoration. The fine textile of the same period is in fine condition. Price £3500.
