Condition

The silver plated surface has areas of pitting with tarnish and wear consistent with age and use.
Fully rewired, earthed and PAT tested.

Description / Expertise

Table lamp by William Arthur Benson. A rare swan-necked design. Arts & Crafts.
Standing on a heart shaped base it has its original silver plated finish on a brass frame (slightly tarnished with age). Catalogue number 1079/AS.
Now fitted with a period opalescent glass shade and fully rewired and PAT tested for contemporary use. An on/off switch has been attached to the cord.
