Cartoon/Print in black and white by Walter Crane "The Triumph Of Labour" - German version.
The design was created to commemorate the International Labour Day May 1 1891 and dedicated to the wage-workers of all countries. It was reproduced in many languages, this one being the German version. It became the inspiration for an unknown number of banners, posters and emblems up until the 1930s.
In dark stained oak frame under glass. External measurements for farme given.
