Description / Expertise
A fine large miniature of King Charles I in superb double frame. Painted by George Perfect Harding who was a miniaturist and portrait copyist of exceptional talent. This is after the painting by Hendrik Gerritsz Pot,when he was in London in the 1630's which was then purchased by GeorgeIV in 1814 and now hangs in the Queen's Gallery.
