Very good. Fine colour and patination.
Description / Expertise
A good mahogany dining table. This form of table is sometimes described as a Hunt or Wakes table.
The long narrow form, with flaps down, was easily moved to the outside of the house for the stirrup cups during the hunt. Possibly the term Wakes is because of its narrowness.
