Description / Expertise
An impressive mid 18th century carved giltwood oval framed mirror in the Rococo manner surmounted by a cartouche of a patera with stylised acanthus leaves emanating flanked by s-shaped scrolling stylised acanthus leaves with paterae and trailing bell-flowers, the base supported by a cartouche of c-scrolls, leaves and a patera, the oval mirror plate within a ribbon and rosette border.
