Mila was born and grew up in Czechoslovakia. After studying in Prague she came to London and attended the Royal College of Art.
From 2003-2010 she was artist in residence at Cheltenham Ladies College. She is the youngest fellow of the Royal West of England Academy. She has exhibited widely in America, Czechoslovakia and England.
Her romantic dreamlike plates display a personal mythology.
