Description / Expertise

This is a small bank of 10 pharmacy draws, complete with their original glass labels and glass handles. The draw fronts are mahogany, with a pine carcass which has handcut dovetail joints. Such draws would have been common place, fitted into a Victorian chemist's shop; once removed back in the 1960's such pieces are increasingly hard to find. This is a tidy, and very original set of draws of a size that could be hung if necessary. Chemist rounds of that period have in identical system of glass labels.
