Description / Expertise

An impressive early 19th Century fireplace in natural limestone. The arched aperture having ornately carved central corbel flanked by elaborate spondrels. The jambs in the form of flat pilasters recessed and carved with roses and foliage capitols. The shelf having dental frieze, acanthus carved central dias and canted top.
